This is the Only Designer Cara Delevingne Will Walk the Runway For

While Cara Delevingne left the modeling industry for reasons we totally stand behind, we’ve certainly been missing her funky spirit in the midst of Fashion Month. Lucky for us, Cara hit the runway—albeit for an all-too-brief stint—at Chanel’s spring 2016 show.

The now full-fledged actress wasn’t exactly modeling, though. So don’t get too excited that she’s perhaps having second thoughts about her early retirement. Cara was merely an attendee, taking it all in from the crowd, when designer Karl Lagerfeld appeared for his walk down the runway at the end of the show. He couldn’t resist having—ahem, former Chanel model—Cara join him for his final strut, and who could blame him? The resulting sashay was absolutely darling!

If anyone was going to get the Paper Towns star and official T.S. squad member to return to the runway, it had to be Lagerfeld. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cara had this to say of the designer’s constant encouragement: “He’s always known that I’ve wanted to act. He was very nice to put me in his fashion film.… He’s been nothing but supportive.”

Check out the duo’s Instagram-worthy walk below.
