Olsenboye Style Haul Back to School Shopping Video

YouTube is full of all kinds of gems. Music videos, clips of cute kittens, even make-up tutorials are just some of the types of videos collegiettes™ can find while perusing the site. But, of course, since this is the Catwalk-to-Campus blog, we’re going to talk a bit about my favorite YouTube video genre: fashion and styling.

One recent video I stumbled upon was Olsenboye’s “Style Haul Back to School” shopping trip. Not only do the six YouTubers in the video provide some great style advice but they also showcase some of the new fall items from the Olsenboye line at JCPenney. The girls are all popular style vloggers on YouTube (meghanrossette, Glassslipperbeauty, ThatsHeart, sarahbelle93x, QueenBeeuty, and glamourista16) with countless amounts of followers. It’s safe to say that they know what they are talking about when it comes to fashion.

One of my favorite pieces from the new Olsenboye line is the ‘Velocity’ Lace-Up Shoes (for $29.99) that several of the girls seemed to sport. The vloggers demonstrated that these could be dressed down for a great first-day-of-school look, however, they would also make a great staple for a night out with friends. I also really liked the Aztec Peasant Top (for $24.99) worn by sarahbelle93x. The blouse features a fun, tribal pattern and looks really nice with the high-waisted blue shorts that she paired it with.

Overall, this video is a great reference point for anyone looking for an affordable and chic back-to-school look. Olsenboye really captures Mary-Kate and Ashley’s signature style not only through the clothing but also the shoes and accessories. Be sure to check out your nearest JCPenney and the Olsenboye website to see the rest of the fall line!

Currently a sophomore, she is working towards a degree in International Business with a focus on Spanish. Brooke is involved in the fashion club, language classes (both Spanish and French), and the newspaper on campus. In high school, she served as academic editor and then editor-in-chief of her school's yearbook, which sparked her interest in journalism and media.
