What collegiette doesn’t love affordable designer fashion? And for you Nicole Richie fans, you are in luck!
Following in the footsteps of the Kardashian sisters and Rachel Zoe, Nicole Richie is hitting the home shopping networks to promote her latest fashion project, the Nicole Richie Collection by QVC.
On Friday, the style-savvy designer and her collection of budget-friendly clothes and handbags made their debut at QVC’s annual pre-Oscar bash, “The Buzz on the Red Carpet” held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Kim Kardashian, Molly Sims, and Stacy Keibler were among the many starlets who turned out for the red carpet event. While Richie looked stunning in an Emanuel Ungaro gown, nude Christian Louboutin heels and House of Harlow retro ’60s jewels, she told SheKnows that the most important thing about her new line is comfort.
“I want women to feel excited about the word comfortable,” Richie said. “I think women hear that word, and they think dowdy and unattractive. I’m trying to encourage women to get excited about that word.”
The Nicole Richie Collection by QVC includes pieces clearly inspired by her own signature boho-chic style including maxi dresses, blouses, and fringed hobo bags, ranging in price between $75 and $257. This is her third fashion line, following her accessories line House of Harlow 1950 from 2008 and her womenswear line Winter Kate from 2010.
