New York Fashion Week Fall 2012: Sunhee

Sunhee Hwang is another winner of the 2012 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award, for womenswear. Her collection, shown on the runway at Exit Art studios in New York, was a sharp, svelte, and well-made collection of knits, leathers and even silks for Fall 2012. There were tops so intricately made I thought they were lace, but was absolutely shocked to find out they were actually knits. Woolen coats were assembled in unusual but clean shapes. Leather pants were designed to be chic and slim but not too tight. Overall, it is doubtlessly the perfect collection for a modern woman about town who doesn’t like a lot of frills, who likes her clothes as streamlined as her life. Take a look at the pictures for more (all by moi)!
