And so it begins, New York Fashion Week 2013. In my mind, this is when the real life Gossip Girl divas come out to play and flaunt their impeccable fashion sense. While some collections can get a bit wild and probably include styles that won’t be seen out in everyday life, I love it when I see designs that I can actually picture myself wearing. But no matter your personal style, anything that appears on the New York runways is going to be downright eye-candy. You can get the full list of shows on the official New York Fashion Week website and follow the trends, beginning tomorrow all the way until the last shows on February 14. What a great way to kick off Valentine’s Day! For a tip on where some great styles can be found, here are a few collections that your Her Campus fashion divas are dying to see.

Don’t let the simple lines and classic colors fool you, there’s enough spunk in this collection for a whole army of fashion divas. I can’t wait for BCBG Max Azria to bring down the house with high waisted cuts and flowy silk fabric on day one of Fashion Week.

Watch out world, this collection means business. And that is business in the most fashionable sense. Daring combinations of patterns with splashes of bright colors are going to make this collection pop out from the runway. And although some styles are pretty fashion forward, I wouldn’t mind stealing some looks for a day in the office or for a night out on the town.

I’m always a sucker for long, beautiful gowns, but when this collection goes down the runway I won’t be able to look away! Bold elegance dominates these styles with fierce dresses that have a huge wow-factor. The other items in this collection are equally impressive, bringing together a powerful set of looks.

Prabal Gurung
Although some of his styles can be a bit quirky, I can’t wait to see this collection on the sixth day of Fashion Week. With a 9 a.m. show, you won’t even need your coffee to wake up because these colors will blow you away. Some looks are more bright and retro, while others are metallic and futuristic. Whatever it may be, it works!

The always-reliable Parisian brand does it again with a stellar Fall 2013 collection. This is one of my favorites because it is completely realistic to picture myself wearing these looks! And what’s better than dressing like the models walking down the New York runways? Well, maybe being one of them, but I’ll be glued to my seat to catch every outfit!
