I have been seeing mint nail polish everywhere. As a self-professed nail polish addict, I had to have some.

Perfect Formula makes a color called Jardin that I decided to try out. I love testing out new colors, but was a little hesitant at first testing out such a light color, because I tend to prefer really dark colors.

Fortunately the Jardin color is a thick color (what I really don’t like is when I buy a color and it doesn’t show up as boldly as I think it is going to). With two coats it comes out super bright which I love.

The polish is very smooth and I was out of top coat but I genuinely thought it was fine without it. And I’m not having any chipping issues either.

The Jardin color can be a little summer-y for some, but here are some ways you can rock it well into the fall.

1.    Test it on your toes. Whenever I am apprehensive about how I feel about a color I try it out on my toes to see how it goes with my skin tone. The pale green (yet bold) color of Jardin will contrast really nicely with a tan on your feet and will be well displayed in your flip flops on the way to class.
2.    A color like this will stand out in Facebook pictures against a LBD while doing your favorite hands-on-your-hip pose (to make your arm look great and show off your polish).
3.    With a white shirt this color will blend in a little more but will, again, pop against your tan.

I’m really loving the color. It’s trendy, somewhat unusual without looking weird on my nails like some unusual colors can, and has already garned me nail polish compliments!

You can get it HERE for $15.
