13 Mob Wife Aesthetic Clothing & Jewelry Pieces Carmela Soprano Would Be Proud Of

If you’re a chronically online girlie like me, you’ve probably seen or heard of the mob wife aesthetic by now. It’s completely taken over my TikTok For You page. When you think of a mob wife, what image appears in your head? Is it of a woman in a large fur coat and sunglasses, who’s rocking a red lip moment? Because that’s what this fashion trend is all about. Gold jewelry, leather fabrics, chic bags, and all-black outfits are the key to TikTok’s skyrocketing mob wife aesthetic.

Instagram account @databutmakeitfashion, which analyzes fashion trends, confirmed that mob wife is overtaking 2023’s clean girl aesthetic, and fast. In an Instagram post, @databutmakeitfashion said the clean girl aesthetic is decreasing 16% in popularity every day, with a coinciding chart that shows the mob wife aesthetic quickly increasing in popularity. The hashtag #mobwife has already accumulated over 170 million views on TikTok. It’s clear mob wife is making its mark in a big way. Carmela Soprano would be proud. Want to partake in one of 2024’s biggest trends? I’ve compiled a list of items that will help you achieve the mob wife look.

Fashion Nova Bring It Back Fur Coat ($70)

A fur coat is a MUST for the mob wife trend. The bigger the coat, the better. Try this black coat from Fashion Nova that will keep you warm and immediately elevate your mob wife look.

Pretty Little Thing Check Print Faux Fur Midi Coat ($50)

This brown faux fur coat from Pretty Little Thing layers perfectly over an all-black outfit. It’s the statement piece the mob wife trend looks for, and adds an assertive element to your outfit.

Fashion Nova Double Feature Sunglasses ($10)

Shield your eyes from the blinding sun and look fierce at the same time in these mega sunglasses, since looking fierce is what the mob wife aesthetic is all about. Wear these with a slicked-back bun or leave your hair tousled — any style will do.

SOJOS Vintage Oversized Square Sunglasses ($13)

You’re bound to dominate the scene in these hot sunnies. Their vintage design perfectly pays tribute to the vintage aspect of the mob wife aesthetic. Hello, ‘80s!

Abercrombie & Fitch Crepe Draped Midi Skirt ($30)

This black skirt is sexy and elegant, which pretty much sums up the mob wife aesthetic in two words. Pair it with a tight black top or corset piece and you’re ready for a night out on the town.

Forever 21 Strapless Mesh Bodycon Maxi Dress ($16)

A long black dress encapsulates the mob wife trend gorgeously, and this one does just the trick! Top it off with a fur coat and chunky gold jewelry to complete the look.

Forever 21 Satin Cutout Cami Maxi Dress ($35)

Who doesn’t love a good leg slit moment? Add a black or red heel and prepare to stun in this hot maxi dress.

Ava Riley Gold Teardrop Earring ($15)

No mob wife look is complete without some jewelry. I’ve recently become obsessed with chunky teardrop earrings and need this pair ASAP.

SUGARFIX by BaubleBar Crystal Collar Necklace ($22)

All mob wives need a necklace. Luckily, I found one that won’t break the bank, but is still super classy.

Old Navy Higher High-Waisted Faux-Leather Flare Pants ($38)

Old Navy coming in with the flare leather pants? Um, yes please! These pants are just what you need for a comfy night out as a mob wife trendsetter. Pair these with a black top for a monochrome mob wife moment.

Jessica Simpson Cassani Pointed-Toe Pumps ($79)

Add an eye-catching pop of color to your black monochrome outfit with these heels. Match these shoes with a red lipstick and you’re bound to turn heads.

Garage Off Shoulder Long Sleeve Top ($30)

This sleek black top can be dressed up or down. I would pair it with a long black skirt or black leather pants, and, of course, a big fur coat to really flaunt that mob wife aesthetic.

Lulus Suave Style Black Strapless Feather Bustier Crop Top ($35)

Corset tops elevate any and every outfit. The fact that this one has faux feathers gives it that extra bit of extravagance that the mob wife trend calls for.
