There are less than two weeks before Lollapalooza commences in the wonderful city of Chicago. Of course, with such little time left, I’ve really got to be on top of putting together my potential festival looks. Let me tell you: this is no joke! A girl can’t just have four outfits for those four days. Who are we kidding here? You already know I’m bringing a whole wardrobe to plan at least 10 different ensembles that I can pick and choose from.

As I begin my journey to find the best pieces to incorporate into my festival ‘fits, I figured we’re all in the same dilemma right now. Hang tight because I got you, dude! Let me show you some must-have pieces and how to style them.

Animal print midi skirts

Animal prints are trendier than ever! And, what’s better than making a fashion statement with a bold pattern? From tiger print to leopard print, these midi skirts have to make an appearance in your festival wardrobe. You can easily match them with any black or white crop top. To complete the whole look, strut in a pair of white platform sneakers!

Neon bodysuits

TBH, bodysuits will never ever go out of style. I mean, they keep your entire outfit so put together. Tucking in a shirt has never been so much easier! Now that summer is in full swing, I’m all about bodysuits in bright colors. After all, neon colors have made their comeback this season. You can wear a neon bodysuit with animal print or even just a subtle color like white.

Pleated mini skirts

Tennis skirt but make it festival fashion! Wait, remember when the American Apparel ones were the craze back in 2010? I say we bring back the tennis skirt trend this festival season. I cop a white one, which I find so easy to wear with any top. I can pick whatever color of crop top or bodysuit. Like, this is definitely going to make my life less difficult comes the weekend of the festival.

Biker shorts

Let’s just talk about how our mothers made us wear biker shorts in every color when we were little (what a time). Hey, they’re back again! If you ask me, I think they’re going to be the most comfortable piece of clothing that you wear. Just throw on a cute crop top in the same color and you got yourself a stylish but comfy outfit!

Button-up crop top

I owe my mom one for this. She found this cute buttow-down shirt for me to create a safari-like ensemble. I can wear it as a jacket with an animal print crop top underneath, or I can also button it down halfway and wear it alone with a pair of cargo shorts.

Music festivals aren’t just about music. Fashion is HUGE as well at these events! No matter what look you’re going for, there’s perfect style item for you from this list. Make sure you make the best out of Lollapalooza and take tons of pics for the ‘gram!
