Laundry Day: Outtakes from the First Ever Her Campus Fashion Editorial!

As the Her Campus Style Editor, I wanted to do a little more than edit articles once a week. I had seen several websites and blogs featuring their own, exclusive fashion editorials and I said to myself, “Man, I wish I could do that…” And then I remembered I could. With the help of HC staffers, I gathered together a delightful group of ladies to model for me, along with dresses from Unique Vintage and jewelry from Emma Stine, among others. I was also assisted by HC Managing Editor Cara Sprunk during the shoot. This is the first in a series of what I hope will be monthly fashion editorials which are, in many ways, the culmination of a childhood spent playing with Barbies.

For this first shoot, I wanted it to be something college girls could relate to and have fun with. After I considered what I had access to, the pieces kind of fell together. So, through the magic of Her Campus, I bring you outtakes from the very first Her Campus fashion editorial “Laundry Day: Because when you have nothing to wear you might as well look fabulous.” Stay tuned for the final editorial, coming soon!
