Proof That Purple Is The Only Color That Matters This New Year’s Eve

Every year, I treat myself to a fun dress to wear on New Year’s Eve. It’s my way of starting the new year on a positive note, feeling confident and beautiful. While gold and silver are most-commonly worn to celebrate on December 31, this time around I’m switching it up by replacing my sequin LBD for a purple one. Mhm, purple. I fully intend on rocking a beautiful shade of violet and you should too. Read on for my favorite NYE looks from Lulus that will prove purple is the color to start the new decade with.

Iridescent bright purple dress and matching heels

This Iridescent color is so incredible, why not go all in and match your dress and shoes? Pair the bold look with a simple black clutch or crossbody like this crocodile-embossed one.

V-Neck Mini Dress, $64

Crocodile Embossed Crossbody, $43

Metallic Ankle Strap Heels, $33

Metallic purple skater dress with ~extra~ accessories

This deep purple sparkly skater dress is ideal because it can be dressed up or down. I’d recommend pairing it with a statement acrylic box bag and sky-high lace-up heels because it’s NYE and you’re supposed to be a bit more extra than usual.

Skater Dress, $49

Glitter Acrylic Box Clutch, $55

Suede Lace-Up Platform Heels, $36

Matte magenta sequins with neutral heels

Make a sequined statement in this high-neckline mini. The pink and purple tones pair so well with rose gold heels for a neutral touch.

Matte Sequin Mini Dress, $52

Black Crocodile Embossed Clutch, $32

Rose Gold Ankle Strap Heels, $31
