Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit Broke More Than Just the Internet

If the Kardashian-Jenner family had a resume, do you think they would include causing chaos on the internet as one of their special skills?

After a few weeks of anticipation, Kylie Jenner finally restocked all eight shades of her sold out lip kits Monday night, only for them to sell out in a matter of minutes. To make things even more fun, it turns out that not only did her website crash—she also sort of broke Google, causing Google Analytics to completely malfunction as hundreds of thousands of users tried to access her site to make purchases.

Obviously, there were a few unsatified customers who shared their discontent the only way they knew how.

Kylie then took to Instagram and shared a post from her Kylie Cosmetics page to apologize to her fans and promise everyone that the kits will be restocked almost every week. She even posted a series of Snapchats documenting the entire ordeal as she watched her website go down because of the overwhelming demand.

“I’m so sorry if this caused any inconvenience for anybody trying to get my kit,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s not my fault but if it were up to me I’d want it to be as easy as possible for everyone.”

To everyone who was able to walk away with a kit, we salute you. Hopefully the lip kits won’t always be this stressful to purchase.
