Jennifer Lopez’s New 70-Piece Makeup Line Specializes in Medium Skin Tones

Celebrities are finally giving fans what we really want: beauty releases and makeup collabs galore. The Rihanna-obsessed got Fenty Beauty and the Kardashian/Jenner club got a treat with Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty, but these successful lines are only the start of what’s coming. Joining these gals in their beautiful business ventures, Jennifer Lopez announced that she will also be releasing a makeup line of her own!

According to Hello Giggles, the icon is collaborating with Inglot Cosmetics to craft her own products. If you aren’t familiar with Inglot Cosmetics, then clearly you’re a glow-o-phobe because Inglot is best known for its nearly incandescent highlighters and hyper-pigmented eyeshadows. J.Lo’s makeup artist, Scott Barnes, initially broke the news about the star’s “Caliente” new endeavor on Instagram, hinting at the release of an original bronzer.

However, bronzer isn’t the only product in Lopez’s upcoming launch. PEOPLE notes that J.Lo plans to include 70 different products in her offerings, so we know we’ll have a variety of hues to choose from (JK, we’re going to buy three of every shade).

While “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” you can reportedly buy J.Lo’s line for an affordable price when it officially hits the market on April 26. Lopez told Women’s Wear Daily that affordability was played an integral role when she was creating this brand. “I really wanted to make it representative of what I would like, what I would use, from the color but also the quality,” she explained. “The price point was very important to me, which is why I chose to partner with Inglot. We can create great quality products that are affordable.” In fact, the most expensive item is $49, whereas everything else runs from $8.50 to $26.

Although the J.Lo has yet to tease us with the brand’s packaging, PEOPLE notes that the first palette, which is a customizable build-your-own palette, will be sold for pre-sale on April 17. While you will be able to buy Jennifer Lopez’s brand on the Inglot Cosmetics website (and J.Lo’s own affiliate Inglot website), Inglot also has hundreds of stores throughout the U.S. in addition to placement at select Macy’s locations.

Now that J.Lo can add makeup mogul to her already extensive list of accolades and titles, we can’t help but wonder which celeb will release their own star-studded beauty brand next – but our bet is that Cardi B will be the next celeb to invade our makeup routine.
