H&M, the Swedish megastore consistently well stocked with every relevant trend to hit the runway, has been bringing affordable high fashion to the US through its 269 retail stores nationwide.Â
Despite being a terrific resource for every type of fashionista, anyone who has stepped inside an H&M has been made aware of the overwhelming effect created by the almost excessive amount of stock and style options, coupled with the task of searching for the correct size.
But yesterday’s announcement of the debut of the long awaited online store for US shoppers will create a much simpler shopping experience.
The online store shows all of H&M’s stock options, which currently consists of 1,254 women’s items.  It also will include designer collaborations, such as the upcoming and much anticipated Isabel Marant for H&M debut, which will take place November 14th.
In celebration of the opening, shipping will be free throughout the month of August, after which a flat fee of $5.95 shipping will be charged. Â But considering the energy required to rifle through the racks at the super store, spending that additional $5.95 saves time, stress and likely, the additional cost of a much needed post-shopping Starbucks.
