Personally, picking out a sleek new pair of boots is my favorite part of the fall season (apart from pumpkin and apple picking of course). There are so many styles to choose from this time of year: ankle booties, high heels, flats, slippers, and more! Here are Her Campus’s 20 favorite boots for this fall:

Under $45

Slipper-Like Booties Are you sick of your classic Uggs? Need a comfy alternative? These Steve Madden booties are a cozy and affordable option. Wear them to class when you’re in a rush or even to the library on a Sunday afternoon.

Hiker Heels Okay, so I have to admit you can’t actually hike in these heels. But they’re perfect to go out in. Since they have a heavier look to them, you can wear them with a soft floral dress or skirt or with skinny jeans. Free People, $154

Classic Riding Boot I have to admit, I have only ridden a horse four times and I own a pair of riding pants. I definitely need to buy a pair of riding boots to go with them! These boots are classic and can go with any everyday outfit. Aqua, $199

Lots of Leopard We haven’t seen the last of the leopard pattern yet. These booties are for the fearless and fashion forward.
Sam Edelman, $160

Classic College Although Frye boots are more on the expensive side, these boots are cute, durable, and will last you a long time.
Frye, $198.40

Quilted Boots I see everyone on campus rocking the classic Hunter boots when it’s pouring outside (or even when it’s not). However, these glossy quilted boots are unique and will have heads turning.
