HC’s 20 Favorite Coats of the Season

A few weeks ago, we had an unexpected nor’easter at my New England school. The electricity, Internet, and heat went out and it was pretty darn chilly. However, I took one lesson out of this (besides to always carry a fully charged phone): it’s definitely time to bundle up and buy a new coat. It’s getting colder which means it’s time for Her Campus’s 20 favorite coats for the winter season:

Under $50

A Pop of Color- Need some color in your wardrobe? Choose a jacket in a fun color like this mustard-colored coat from Forever 21. I love the gathered sleeves and the belt it comes with. Forever 21, $42.80

Tuxedo Jackets Aren’t Just For Guys- Menswear for women is definitely in this season, and I am taking advantage by wearing some of my father’s old tuxedo jackets. It’s an adorable look that is classic and tasteful. Charlotte Russe, $39.99

Fly in Style- This pilot-inspired H&M jacket is stylish, affordable, and will keep you warm during those cold winter evenings. What more can you ask for in a jacket? H&M, $49.95

Military-Inspired- I am definitely not in a rush for winter to come. It’s not too chilly to wear this adorable cropped military-inspired jacket from Go Jane. Go Jane, $25.30
