Harry Styles’ solo career has been just… gucci. Ever since the Brit singer left the mega-popular band One Direction in pursuit of his solo career, he’s been working hard to solidify himself, not just in the music community, but in the fashion one as well.
Lou Teasdale, Styles’ hairstylist (aka the woman behind those iconic locks) posted a photo of her feet in Gucci Rainbow Horsebit loafers to her Instagram story on Wednesday night. The loafers add a twist to the basic Gucci leather loafer with a rainbow pattern, and incorporate the brand’s classic red and green color scheme on the tongue of the shoe.

According to Teen Vogue, Harry was out and about in this exact pair last month, and the whole band appeared to be sporting these babies on Saturday Night Live. This is kind of out of character for Harry, who made a point of never coordinating outfits with One Direction, as we learned on the band’s Carpool Karaoke stint. That said, it is pretty cute that they all decided to wear the same shoes. #friendgoals

While the shoes seem a bit outlandish (and expensive) for day-to-day wear, they fit in perfectly with the aesthetic of an ex-boy band member who is looking to find his own way to stand out. For now though, I think I’ll just stick to matching friendship bracelets with my squad … they still hit us with a pop of color, without the price tag.
