Cult Favorite Elnett Satin Hairspray Leaves Hair Soft and Shiny

When I first saw a magazine ad for L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray, I was instantly jealous of Penelope Cruz’s shiny curls. They looked so polished, so soft and perfect and I wanted them so bad.

So when I received a sample of Elnett Satin Hairspray Extra Strong Hold, I was excited to try it out. After all, this legendary hairspray is sort of a big deal in the hair world. Before making its U.S. debut nationwide in fall 2008 exclusively at Target, Elnett Satin Hairspray had long been a favorite of hairstylists around the world.

And it’s been the hairspray of choice for red carpet events and cover photo shoots all over the place. Did I mention that Kourtney Kardashian is also a huge fan and was recently spotted stocking up on Elnett hairspray at her local Walgreens in LA?

Ok you get it, this is supposed to be a great hairspray. So did it measure up to all they hype when I finally tested it out? Read on, ladies!

The Verdict

I typically leave my curls and waves intact and rarely straighten or blow-dry my locks, but I was happy I did this time. After spraying on Elnett, my locks looked so shiny and felt super soft. It left my hair looking soft to the touch but didn’t leave behind that sticky or dirty residue many hairsprays do.

But how?

How does this hairspray keep its users looking so great? Chalk it up to its micro diffuser that sprays ultra-fine and disappears at the stroke of a brush. This overseas cult favorite provides exceptional hold and protects against humidity.
