COVERGIRL Queen Latifah Web Series

“We need to have our voices be heard.”- Queen Latifah

Covergirl has introduced a new feature on their Facebook Page titled Queen’s U.N.I.T.Y. Reignited web series. The series showcases five different up and coming female artists whom were chosen by Queen Latifah herself and get to cover the song U.N.I.T.Y in their own vocal style.

Each week a new webisode is added and all of them introduce the artists as well as their singing styles. Queen Latifah hopes to inspire the future generation of female singers.

Besides the vocal aspirations of these women, they also get makeovers from the Covergirl Queen Collection. Simply click on “looks” under the Facebook page tab and you can learn to achieve the beautiful looks right at home.

I happen to think that this is a great initiative by Covergirl. These girls are all very talented and it’s got to be a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to work on a project with Queen Latifah.

Will you be following their journey on Facebook? Also, what do you think of Covergirl’s new initiative in helping empower women?
