The fashion industry has often been criticized for promoting materialism, selfishness, and vanity. The pervasive new trend within the industry, however, is to partner with non-profit charities. These partnerships always make me smile; the opportunity to dress well and make a difference in the world is too amazing to pass up! The latest partnership? Clothes4Souls (a division of Soles4Souls) and bebe!

Check out the following press release from bebe:

Beginning on Thursday, July 15th, women will be invited to drop by bebe to donate their ‘gently worn’ jeans in exchange for $25 off a new pair of jeans selected from bebe’s new Fall 2010 Denim Collection.  Limit one offer per customer. Additionally, with a minimum cash donation of $10, customers will receive $25 off a new pair of jeans.

Visit Clothes4Souls to learn more and shop bebe to pick out your new pair of jeans!
