You definitely read that right. Cardi B has announced a collaboration with street style giant Fashion Nova, and we’re expecting it to be out of this world. The hilarious announcement video came this week via Instagram, where Cardi explained that the line will be a fall collection.
If we were to pick someone to hand-design a rockin’ FN line, we would’ve picked Cardi. The singer/rapper has been a longtime fan of the brand, and even wore several Fashion Nova pieces to her first album release party. During an interview with Beats 1 Radio, she explained, “You know one of my passions is fashion – with Fashion Nova, they gave me the opportunity to design what I like and what I want to put out. I’m going to put out a line with them, a little something-something for the fall. It’s going to be crazy because it’s what I like.”
While we don’t have many details, we’re sure Cardi will keep us updated as she continues designing. Until then, we’ll just be drooling over all of Fashion Nova’s summer looks.
