They’ve watched their designs grow from mood boards and sketches to full-fledged collections, they’ve cast models, picked makeup, and styled each look; they’ve set their vision to music, picked the perfect location to present their creations, and are ready to watch it be paraded down the runway. All that’s missing here is you!
Her Campus, sponsored by U by Kotex, is bringing you the biggest fashion shows the American college scene has ever experienced across the country – and Boston is first on the list! The trucks are packed and headed east from Las Vegas with the clothes, the seating, and the runway in tow, all to be ready for the festivities this Saturday, September 29, at the Estate from 6-9 pm.
The runway presentation will include some of your favorite labels like LeSportsac, as well as some local Boston brands like up-and-comer Rusted Revolution (started by BC grads), along with other student designers, and will feature great organizations like Beauty Changes Lives, a non-profit designed to raise awareness of how careers in the beauty industry transform lives personally and professionally.
The theme of the evening will be “Upgrade Your Life” – because honestly, who could say no to that? – and will break down the looks into four stylish categories tailor-made for us collegiettes: gym, class, weekend, and formal. Be prepared for some serious style inspiration and great insights on the newest trends for Spring 2013.
