For as much as they like to take hilarious jabs at each other on social media, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are truly one of the most supportive and loving celebrity couples out there — and as it turns out, this love and support for one another even extends to Blake’s red carpet beauty and outfit choices, because of course.
On Monday night, the couple attended the premiere for Ryan’s new movie, Deadpool 2, and Blake decided to support her husband in the best way she knows how: with a color-coordinated dress and Deadpool-inspired nail art. She opted for a black sequined strapless dress with a red sash wrapped around her waist — a.k.a. Deadpool’s signature colors.

Upon closer inspection (and based on an Instagram posted by her nail artist) she even paid homage to her husband’s Marvel character with some intricate on-theme nail art and I’m seriously impressed.
As if that weren’t adorable enough, Ryan returned the love on the red carpet with some adorable (as usual) words about his wife. “She’s immeasurably made my life better,” he told Vanity Fair. “She’s my best friend. I absolutely love and respect her. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
He also added that his family is “everything” to him and that they were a major inspiration behind the storyline for Deadpool 2. Aww.
Pro tip: do not, and I repeat, do not date anyone unless they treat you like Ryan and Blake treat each other — because ladies and gentleman, this is what true love looks like.
