They’re often overlooked — from being paid less than other non-Black creators to not being properly credited for their hard work.
Unfortunately, this has been a common theme throughout the years, and it still hasn’t changed much. Popular brands may showcase a couple of Black influencers on their social media during this month for *diversity.* But, it’s also important that they show this support all year round. This is something many Black creators have called out, especially smaller creators whose voices often get lost in the crowd.
