Oct. 1 marked the final show of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. For five months, Queen Bee mesmerized audiences with unforgettable choreography and visual effects — and of course, let us not forget that undeniable vocal talent. Over the course of her career, Beyoncé has been a long-standing figure and inspiration to many fans and fellow performers around the world. After 56 shows worldwide, I, like everyone else, would assume that the Queen would take a much-needed rest on her throne. After all, she deserves it! I was very, very wrong. On Oct. 24, a 360-degree Instagram reel was posted showcasing the exquisite bottle of Beyoncé’s latest fragrance. In the caption, she wrote, “Beyoncé Parfums presents CÉ NOIR.” From then on, over 15,000 (and counting) comments were posted, praising her robust ingenuity.
I must admit, I’ve been hyperventilating ever since. To make matters even better, Beyoncé followed up with another Instagram reel on Oct. 25, formally introducing the fragrance in a personalized unboxing video. Though filmed entirely in black and white, she was absolutely breathtaking. This fragrance couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. The holiday season is just around the corner, and so is the premiere of her Renaissance concert documentary in theaters on Dec. 1. I can barely contain myself at the thought of sitting in a theater watching her movie and smelling like her! If this isn’t a dream come true, I don’t know what is!

When it comes to Beyoncé, no price is too high! Fans in Canada and the U.S. are now able to preorder the perfume for $160 on the perfume’s official website. Though the price is more on the expensive side, it’ll be so worth it! During the tour, select cities were given exclusive access to the perfume by way of sample strips. Many fans have been tight-lipped since then, but now we can all smell like the Queen herself!

Preorders of Beyoncé’s perfume are slated to begin shipping sometime in November. Along with the 1.7-fluid-ounce bottle of CÉ NOIR, some fans can also expect to receive a special gift with every purchase, while supplies last. Honey Balenciaga, an iconic Ballroom performer and one of Beyoncé’s Renaissance dancers, commented on the Oct. 24 video, saying “THE SMELL IS SICKENING.” I don’t know about you, but I take Honey’s word for it 100%. On the official website, the perfume is listed as having top notes of clementine and golden honey — a wonderful nod to Beyoncé’s revered fanbase, the Beyhive. The heart notes are rose absolute and jasmine sambac. At the base, the notes finish off with Namibian myrrh and golden amber. I can smell it through the screen, can’t you?!
