Behind the Scenes: Our Third Her Campus Photoshoot!

On a far-t00-cold day at the end of March, I had three lovely ladies modeling for me on the East River in Manhattan for our third Her Campus photoshoot. They were the best sports, though, serving fierceness despite the wind and the chill.

For the clothes this time around, I was inspired by the coming springtime, but in a different way. Spring always reeks of florals and pastels, but it gets a little bit boring after a while. With Manhattan as my perpetual muse, I found the sunlight streaming on the concrete especially beautiful. I decided to go about this spring editorial with that in mind, using greys and blacks to show a part of spring that sometimes we miss in fashion. Clothes came from Avant Wong, Clara Sunwoo, and Banana Republic, along with jewelry from The Finishing Touch.

Here are some outtakes from the shoot, with the final editorial to come this week!
