Everyone knows social media can be a place where people can post about their daily lives—with the occasional layer of filters and photoshopping. Even though most of us are aware that bloggers and social media icons are often using these tools to make their lives seem picture-perfect, it can still be easy to feel envious of the apparent perfection we see. One beauty vlogger, however, is not afraid to admit everything she’s done to achieve her Instagram-worthy appearance, especially if some of her followers express their admiration in the comment section of her posts.
A 19-year-old fan of popular vlogger Gina Shkeda tweeted out a previously-Instagrammed photo of Shkeda lounging in bed in all of her “natural” glory, and Shkeda was quick to reply to point out her beauty wasn’t quite as natural as the fan thought.

Shkeda replied, “Girl I have micro bladed brows, lash extensions in and lip injections. I don’t even look like this you’re flawless.”
If only every Instagram-ing beauty admitted to their envious fans that their so-called natural beauty is something they’ve had to work for and change too. So much respect for you, Gina!
