BCBG is officially closing its doors. The brand, which has been a staple in malls across the country as long as I can remember, has announced that it is moving exclusively online. While this announcement is definitely a shock, it’s not at all unusual.
Since the rise of the internet and online shopping, going into an actual mall to buy your clothes is something many shoppers have just opted out of, including myself. Admittedly, I find shopping online way more convenient and twice as fast. After all, you get to see the store’s entire inventory with the click of a button—not to mention you can filter out anything our of your budget or size range.
Thankfully, all is not lost: BCBG will still remain open online. I am going to miss seeing their gorgeous dresses on display, though. And for those of you who prefer brick and mortar, I’m sorry.
