The answer to acne marks? Chrissy’s Beauty School Tests Clinique’s Even Better Franchise

I don’t know about you, but I hate acne. And I don’t just hate acne. No, I hate the marks it leaves on
your skin, the lingering discoloration that just never seems to go away, those stubborn spots that make you feel like a dinosaur. Because let’s face it, even if you get rid of that ugly pimple on your face, chances are that you just might have a lingering acne mark to show for all your hard pimple-fighting efforts.

I, like many other women, have these acne marks and discoloration and I’m always intrigued when I learn about various ways to combat them. So when I saw all those ads for Clinique’s Even Better line, which claims to help you in the fight against discoloration, I knew it was worth a shot.

The Even Better franchise includes three key items: The Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector—a gentle and non-irritating serum that helps prevent the appearance of new dark spots and breaks up existing pigmentation—; Even Better Makeup SPF 15—a
lightweight, oil-free foundation that helps restore uneven skin tone and diminish the look of discoloration—; and Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20
—a moisturizer that provides luminosity and increases brightness, thereby restoring skin to a more uniform tone over time.

So do the products really live up to their hype? Well, I’ve been religiously testing out the trio for the past seven weeks—Clinical Dark Spot Corrector, Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20 and Makeup SPF 15 in the morning and Clinical Dark Spot Corrector at night—and I’ve noticed a change in the appearance of the dark spots on my face. My skin tone also seems to be more even.

My problem area has always been the cheeks on my face, and I have several lingering acne marks. But after seven weeks of using the Even Better line, I can honestly say that I’ve noticed a change in their appearance. I’m not saying it’s a miracle worker: I still have acne marks, after all. But it really has make a big difference and the marks are much less pronounced and have faded a lot. On one side of my face, the darker marks have faded less, but on the other side the lighter marks are much less noticeable now! And who knows what they’ll look like after a few more weeks of using the products.

So would I recommend the products? Yes, I would. The only potential problem is the price. The Clinical Dark Spot Corrector goes for $49.50, the Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20 is $42.50, and theMakeup SPF 15 is $24.50. But even though you’re on a budget, ladies, results are what matters, so if you’re looking for a bit of a change, this might just be the product you should buy. And Christmas is around the corner, so you could always add these items to your list!
