Attention, readers, put down the mascara and read right now!

A good mascara, much like a good man, is hard to find. So many of them promise you the world but end up being a huge disappointment. And a very select few actually end up being worth the investment. But they’re just so tempting, right?

Be honest with me, my dear, how many mascaras have you gone through since you first started wearing makeup? Is it in the single or double digits? Don’t be ashamed, my friend, it’s smart not to settle.

I can’t tell you how many mascaras I’ve tried in my quest for the perfect one because I lost count long ago. And I know I’m hardly alone in this mission. Just about every female I know will, when asked, tell you that their number one makeup must is a good mascara. It’s the base for a fresh, clean look and really does wonders to bring out your eyes.

So I decided that we better join together to find the perfect mascara. Welcome to Mission Mascara.  In this weekly series, I’ll be trying out different mascaras—lengthening mascaras, thickening mascaras, cheap mascaras, pricey mascaras, mascaras that promise you you’ll be cured of any ailment you ever had—and giving you my honest opinion on whether they’re worth your money or not.

Do you have a mascara you want to try out but don’t want to waste your money for fear of disappointment? Let me try it for you! Have you already found the perfect mascara? Friends don’t let friends keep secrets when it comes to mascaras, so share!

Sound off in the comment section and let me know what products you’d like to see featured in Mission Mascara!
