Ali Fedotowsky’s New Talk Show…Will You Watch?

Among  my friends and family, It’s no secret that I am a diehard fan of “The Bachelor”/”The Bachelorette” franchise. I watch every season religiously, and even rope my friends into become addicts with me…yes it’s a little pathetic, but I love it.

Last summer, the world watched 26 year-old Ali Fedotowsky find love with, now fiancée, Roberto Martinez. Since wrapping up “The Bachelorette” in August 2010, Ali has been on a whirlwind ride of appearances, interviews, and (most recently) a gig at a local Fox station in San Diego.

Naturally, as such a fan of Ali’s season of The Bachelorette, I was thrilled to find out that Ali is slated to host a new weekly talk show series on The Style Network. Ali and The Style Network together? I think Christmas came early this year.

According to the press release, Ali will serve as the main face of the show, however she will share the spotlight with co-hosts Adrianne Curry (of “America’s Next Top Model” fame), Vivica A. Fox and style expert Nick Verreos (former “Project Runway” contestant) for this new half-hour series.

For now, the series remains untitled, but it is promised to, “tackle anything and everything that’s of interest to Style viewers. From exciting in-studio guests to product demos, makeover segments, field segments and a studio audience, this new daily show will be just as Style-ish as it is informative and fun.”

Personally, I cannot wait to see more of Ali (and hopefully her gorgeous fiancée) in the future. But part of me questions how Ali and two other former reality stars are qualified to be dishing out fashion advice to viewers. I adored Ali’s sense of style on “The Bachelorette” (and “The Bachelor”), but I’m not sure if that merits having a whole talk show. I like clothes, too…where’s my talk show?

My other qualm about this show is that I LOVE “Fashion Police”, already a Style Network staple. I hope Ali’s show is varied enough so as to not be a lesser version of Joan Rivers’ fan favorite.

So what do you think collegiettes? Does Ali deserves to have her own fashion talk show or should she just stick to handing out roses? Will you tune in to see it?
