According to Sophie: Best Dressed at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards

The Golden Globes begin the most anticipated season of the year (I personally count down the days): awards season. While the purpose of awards season is to showcase some of the most incredible movies of the year, I tend to focus on the fabulous dresses worn by the attendees. Below are the most fashionable women attendees (in my opinion of course) of the Golden Globes 2011:

Olivia Wilde  in Marchesa

This dream Barbie goes punk gown paired with gold spiked Christian Louboutins looked absolutely stunning on Tron star Olivia Wilde.

Natalie Portman in Victor and Rolf
Natalie Portman accentuated her baby bump in this baby pink gown with rose detail this year. She tied the outfit together with a rose purse and high heeled pumps.

Emma Stone in Calvin Klein
Emma Stone looked absolutely radiant in a simple peach short sleeved gown with unbelievable bling (Van Cleef jewelry). She took a fashion risk by going with the Alfred Hithcock actress classic blonde bombshell look. She definitely pulled it off!

Catharine Zeta Jones in Monique Lhullier
Catharine Zeta Jones rocked the forest green look this year. This is possibly one of her best award looks yet!

Hallie Steinfeld in Prabal Gurung
This True Grit star looked so sophisticated in this white gown paired with a turquoise and gold clutch.

Claire Danes in Calvin Klein Collection
Emma Stone wasn’t the only one to rock Calvin Klein. This pink and specially made gown for Claire Danes looked absolutely gorgeous on her.

Carrie Underwood in Badgley Mischka
The country singer looked absolutely amazing in this sparkly tube top dress with a simple train.

Angelina Jolie in Versace
The Tourist actress combined two trends, sparkles and the color green on the red carpet. Jolie looked absolutely flawless.

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
This is the first time we’ve seen Lopez escape her pop princess look and walk onto the red carpet in a gown with a gorgeous silhouette.

Anne Hathaway in Armani Privé
My personal favorite of the night was Anne Hathaway in this gorgeous, bronze, mermaid like dress. She looked so wonderful. In my eyes definitely the best dressed of the night.
