7 Weird Fashion Items We Can’t Believe Actually Exist

Fashion can be wacky, to say the least. But there are some things out there that are just plain weird. A sleeping bag you can wear? A cowboy boot, flip-flop hybrid? We’re all about taking a risk for style’s sake, but we can’t believe these 7 fashion items actually exist.

1. Mona Lisa Swanson tee

Want. Need. Have to have. We admit it’s a shocking visual at first, but this Shelfies tee ($27.09) is something we can no longer live without.

2. Cowboy boot sandals

We are so not cool with these boot sandals ($50). Like, where would you even wear them? Never mind. We don’t want to know.

3. Wearable sleeping bags

We don’t need a lame camping excuse to don Amazon’s wearable sleeping bag ($129.99). Whenever we feel like napping outside our apartments, this will be our new go-to!

4. Muscle-printed leggings

Despite what some thrifty designer thought, we’re not interested in seeing the muscles inside our legs displayed on the outside. Come to think of it, these spandex leggings from Amazon ($5.15) make us feel a little queasy.

5. Harness

Yes, we’ve heard that Taylor Swift thinks a harness—this one is $38 from Nasty Gal—worn over normal everyday clothes is the next big thing. But we’re not going to jump on this bandwagon quite so fast. We’re calling it: fad!

6. Hug me jacket

We think this odd outerwear was a bit of a failed experiment in 2012. After all, we don’t recall ever being given the chance to purchase a jacket that literally hugs you all day long.

7. ’90s explosion sweater

This is the sweater to end all sweaters. We didn’t think you could fit this much weird into one piece of clothing, but boy were we wrong! And it can be yours for just $47.82 at Shelfies.

Will you be trying out any of these bizarre fashion items, collegiettes?
