7 On-the-Rise Style Bloggers That Are My Current Instagram Faves

With spring basically here and summer fast approaching, the race to dig up old clothes is on. Fishing out your old crop tops, shorts and sundresses to see what still fits and is “in style” can be a lengthy and frustrating process, especially when you aren’t sure what’s still considered “cute” or what styles you should be looking out for.

Before Marie Kondo-ing your whole closet, consider elevating some old pieces with a fresh new twist. Who says your whole wardrobe can’t spark joy if you think outside the box?

There’s no better way to seek out the latest trends and styles than – you guessed it – Instagram! Rather than exclusively following verified, high-profile bloggers, try looking for some up-and-coming style bloggers putting their own flare on fashion. Here are seven leading women winning the ‘gram game that you should definitely look out for.

Sarah Stannard, @stylesarah

Based in the city that never sleeps, Sarah is a style blogger you shouldn’t be sleeping on. She has an effortless cool-girl vibe, and her simplistic-yet-chic city look is filled with fun patterned pants, boots and stylish hats. Not to mention, her Instagram feed is complete goals, especially when it features her adorable kitten, Eleanor.

I also highly recommend also following Sarah on Twitter, where she obsesses over her celeb crush Harry Winks and tweets endlessly relatable content.

Kayley Reed, @kayley.e.r

Kayley is based in Calgary, AB, and is a complete boss. She’s an influencer marketing consultant and has her own podcast series, Self-Care Sunday. Her feed is full of warm and neutral tones that makes the weather right now feel a little less cold.

Her sense of style can only be described as super cozy. She has a total obsession with teddy coats and her feed does not hide it. Paired with cute tops and sweaters, Kayley’s latest love of scrunchies makes us crave the comfortable yet business-chic fashion vibe she has going. Can we make scrunchies come back please?

Keeping up with Kayley should be at the top of your to-do list because she is killing it with her podcast and slaying my feed every day.

Talia Hubble, @talliia

Talia’s Instagram bio reads, “Kansas City bred, Los Angeles fed.” Her feed is peachy-pink perfection, and completely gets you into that summery mood. Her latest obsessions have been Canadian tuxedos, long and flowy maxi dresses, and even a stunning bright pink pantsuit. Talia’s adventurous wardrobe is full of fun, colorful ideas that will surely inspire your wardrobe heading into the warmer weather.

Also, who doesn’t love a vibrant feed? Talia is definitely a gal to keep your eye on with her fun sense of style.

Allegra Rose, @allegraroseb

Also from LA, Allegra’s feed is a dream and her style looks like something straight out of Urban Outfitters. The orange undertones in her photos make the desert and wildflower field shots absolutely breathtaking, and give her feed a beautiful glow. From her flowy bell-sleeved tops to her floral maxi dresses, Allegra’s wardrobe is a summer dream. Keep your eye on Allegra for some major Cali-girl vibes to help curate your summer look.

Sara Covey, @saracovey

With a beautiful monochromatic feed alternating among the colors of the rainbow, Sara’s Instagram is phenomenal. Based in Chicago, her looks are far from those of a city dweller. From her photos, she doesn’t hide that she travels often and incorporates the bright colors of each city into all of her outfits.

From Oahu to South Carolina to Marrakech, she matches her surroundings effortlessly. Honestly, her feed feels like an Anthropologie lookbook, and it’s all of my goals.

Binja, @africancocktail

Binja is a style blogger based in Boston but no stranger to travelling the globe. She recently took a trip to Ghana and her photos are absolutely flawless. Binja’s style can only be described in two words–powerful and bold. Her feed is full of bright colors and accented backgrounds. From yellow dresses to long orange and purple pants, Binja is serving some serious looks. Her brightness is sure to radiate through to you and inspire your own sense of style. Following Binja’s style is a must for the perfect bold and bright summer closet.

Gina Martin, @ginamartinuk

Gina is an absolute badass. Not only is her Instagram vivacious and creative, but her voice and activism is just as amazing. Gina’s style is bright and usually involves statement pieces like big earrings or coats. She isn’t afraid to have fun, or use her voice.

Gina sparked conversation about the “upskirting” (when men will take photos of women up their skirts without consent) in England and Wales. Until Gina, this issue wasn’t illegal and there wasn’t much being done about it. However, through social media and meeting with elected officials, Gina was able to make “upskirting” illegal. While fashion can be fun and friendly, Gina brought to light a serious issue that comes with it–and was able to change it for the better. She is definitely an activist and fashionista you should be looking out for!

Hopefully these seven women will give you a fresh perspective on your wardrobe and what you want to get out of it. Be sure to keep your eyes on all of these ladies because you certainly don’t want to miss out on what they’re all curating!

Natalie B. Held is a senior at Boston University majoring in political science and minoring in women’s and gender studies. The B stands for Brooke except she doesn’t like Brooke. She just likes B and that’s all. When she’s not influencing, writing, or politicking—you can find Natalie scoping out new brunch spots, purchasing exorbitant amounts of lipsticks, and obsessing over the latest pink trends.
