7 Comfy Lounge Bras That I Want to Live in Forever

The Her Campus National Editors write about products we love and think you’ll love too. Her Campus has affiliate partnerships, so we get a share of the revenue from your purchase. All products are in stock and all prices are accurate as of publication.

If I’m being honest, I think that we as a society have progressed beyond the need for those padded, underwire bras that tug and squeeze and feel constrictive. But also, underboob sweat is a very real thing (TMI, sorry), and it’s still nice to wear something a little more presentable than pajamas day-to-day to maintain a sense of normalcy and to serve as motivation to actually get up off the couch and get moving (within social distancing guidelines, of course).

While we’re all rocking our comfiest leggings and oversized T-shirts, naturally, any athleisure outfit needs its go-to comfy bra pairing. I’ve rounded up some of the best lounge bra picks — from durable bras that will support you, to delicate lacy numbers that are so cute you won’t mind if they peek through your shirt.

Out from Under Without Me Seamless Cross-Back Bra Top

Your face-masking and binge-watching ‘fit isn’t complete without this stretchy bra. It can even be worn as a top with high-waisted pants. Lazy, but make it fashion? Yes, please.

Reviewers enjoy how this bralette is comfortable yet flattering and holds everything in place, but many recommend ordering a size up.

Aerie Softest Lace Padded Bralette

Aerie’s lacy bralettes have always been my go-to for a boho moment, but I’ve been truly living in them these days. Although they seem to no longer be selling my personal favorite style, I’m tempted to add this one to cart because it checks all my boxes: the straps are somewhat adjustable, the racerback style offers extra support, and the neckline is just plunging enough to deliver a decent amount of coverage.

Of course, the cute, dainty lace detail (that’s durable enough to hold up after many washes!) is a plus, as well.

Z by Zella Longline Sports Bra

Z by Zella is one of my favorite brands for athleisure because it’s comfortable, on-trend, and most importantly, affordable. As a brand, they offer bras in many styles and with a variety of levels of support, with options that are appropriate for lounging, working out, and any activity in between.

This sports bra is moisture-wicking and supportive — so, perfect for higher intensity exercising. Not to mention, it comes in cute prints, too.

Knix Evolution Bra

Knix has made a name for itself by being size-inclusive, with this particular bra coming in 8 different sizes that are each designed to fit a variety of cups. With no padding and no wires, this bra is perfect for everyday wear. This bra offers adjustable straps, a high neckline (which means no spillage), and a thick band for extra support — like a hybrid between a regular bra and a sports bra.

Lively The Long-Lined Lace Bralette

This bralette looks sweet and dainty, and the lace detailing is adorable. With a wide band and adjustable straps, this pick is functional. Lively recommends sizing down with this particular bra if you’re between band sizes. While the cups might be a bit small on those with a larger chest, Lively does offer some bras specifically designed and sized for the well-endowed, such as the Palm Lace Busty Bralette ($35).

Girlfriend Collective Topanga Bra

Girlfriend Collective is a size-inclusive, ethically-made activewear and loungewear brand. They offer two styles of sports bras, made from recycled water bottles. This particular style offers a no-spillage high neck, and medium support perfect for both working out and lounging around.

Wacoal How Perfect No-Wire Contour Bra

With cups but no wires, this bra offers support and structure, without that pesky digging feeling. Reviewers rave about how soft and comfortable this bra is. If you struggle with finding a bralette your size, try looking for something like this — a wireless bra that comes in cup sizes, as opposed to Small, Medium, and Large — to find that perfect fit for your body. Plus, the padding offers a smoothed silhouette that will have you feeling confident under any outfit.

Bras feel like they’re not going to be a thing anymore, but at least there’s lots of comfy lounge options out there.
