As much as I love my  current wardrobe, I dream of the days where my closet is filled with pieces that would make Carrie Bradshaw jealous. If you’re a fashion-obsessed collegiette, you must feel the same way. Until we can snag our own successful, Mr. Big-esque husbands (let’s be honest: there’s no way Carrie could afford that wardrobe on her own), a girl can only dream, right? Fashionistas, I give you my top five dream pieces.
Prada’s Decorative- Arm Sunglasses ($290)
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with sunglasses: I brought at least five pairs with me to college (I know, I have a shopping problem)! This quirky take on a simple pair of sunnies is heaven. In my opinion, fashion should always be fun, no matter what. These sunglasses would either act as an unexpected dash of drama or the finishing touch to an already quirky outfit. I begged my mom for these but no luck… so far!
Rag & Bone’s Hart Biker Jacket ($595)
Fun Fact: I’m obsessed with anything Marcus Wainwright and David Neville create. Rag & Bone’s Hart Biker Jacket is no exception. As always, Wainwright and Neville create a contemporary twist to a classic concept. Admit it: whenever you think of a biker jacket, you instantly imagine a leather jacket, right? The juxtaposition between the boucle knit and leather piping perfectly upholds the Rag & Bone aesthetic. It may be a little too warm to wear this now, but this jacket is timeless.
Valentino Rockstud Dome Bag ($1,995)
I’m such a sucker for studs. Call me a bag lady, but I always find myself carrying much more than the average fashionista: to class, going out on the weekend…everywhere! The studs on this bag are edgy, but not overbearing. Also, I’m obsessed with the silhouette and flip-lock closure. Basically this bag is the key to my heart.
Yves Saint Lauren Stingray-Platform T-Strap Sandal ($995)
No amazing closet is complete without a stellar pair of heels. These sandals are perfect for the summer: they will go with everything and are cuter than your typical strappy sandal. Also, the mix of textures is undeniably chic. My feet are aching just looking at the shoes. Oh the price we pay for glamour!
The Final Look from Marc Jacobs’ 2012 Resort Collection
As a collegiette, having this piece in my wardrobe is essentially pointless. It’s not appropriate for frat parties, class, hanging out, internships, or frolicking around Boston; however, how cool would it be to  have this just hanging in your closet? Forget Ben and Jerry, all a girl really needs is some Marc. From the gorgeous blue to the dainty floral pattern, this dress is addictively girly. Though I love my black  ensembles and studs, I am a true girly girl at heart. I would probably save this bad boy until my engagement party to my future Mr. Big.
