It’s no secret that fashion and beauty go hand in hand. After all, is an ensemble really complete without some BB Cream, winged liner, and/or a bright red lip? Exactly. Fortunately, our favorite designers realized this and partnered with premier beauty companies to create a makeup line we’ll never forget. Trust us, you won’t want to miss these five capsule collections.

1. Proenza Schouler X MAC Cosmetics

Not to sound dramatic, but anything Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough touch turns to sartorial gold. Don’t believe us? Remember the PS1 (a.k.a. “The Anti-It Bag”)? Exactly. Slated to hit stores in April 2014, this collection is set to have everything you could ever ask for: ombré face powders, eye liners, lipsticks, nail polishes, and a 129SE brush. The icing on the chic cake? The packaging is rumored to be inspired by pervious Proenza Schouler collections. Swoon.

2. Derek Lam X Estée Lauder

It’s been a few day since WWD announced this new collaboration, and we’re still shaking in anticipation. According to the report, the designer’s beauty collection will be sold as an 85 dollar set of five products, which includes a kohl liner and pale pink lip. Similar to Lam’s cutting-edge runway pieces, this line is the perfect way to add a “wow” factor to an average outfit.

3. Jason Wu X Lancôme

We love Jason Wu for a multitude of reasons, his ability to perfectly blend feminine with modern and Michelle Obama’s own appreciation for the designer are just two (of the many) reasons. Lucky for us, his recent partnership with Lancôme gives us yet another reason to adore the fashion genius. Inspired by his coveted runway collections, these products are perfect to spice up a relaxed look or pair with one of Wu’s fierce designs. Filled with vibrant lipsticks and striking eyeshadow palettes, this collection is everything our stylish hearts desire.

4. Pedro Lourenço X MAC Cosmetics

Well, well, well—isn’t MAC snagging partnerships with the biggest names in fashion? According to WWD, the beauty company is teaming up with Lourenço to create the ultimate palette for Summer 2014.  “Pedro organically understands and relates to the MAC Cosmetics DNA and beautifully interprets the Brazilian woman’s polished yet effortless style through this collaboration,” MAC Creative Director James Gager tells WWD. Rumored to include everything from nail polishes to powder blush duos, our countdown has officially begun.

5. Alber Elbaz X Lancôme

If this duo’s array of mascaras, eye palettes, and false lashes aren’t enough to win you over, the packaging is enough to make any style savant swoon. No stranger to quirky doodles, Lanvin’s frontman has designed each tube, palette, and box with his signature cartoons.  With four different types of eye treatments—Définicils,  Star, Doll, and Drama—there’s a product that’s perfect for you.
