5 College Graduation Outfits That Will Give The Typical White Dress A Run For Its Money

Not sure what to wear to graduation? Let’s be real, it’s 2019 and we are SO over the typical white dress everyone seems to sport. The traditional dress is still a go-to for many people when trying to find the perfect dress — but why blend in with the crowd when you can stand out in fun and innovative prints, colors, and designs?

When bidding your home for the last four years or so goodbye, go out with a bang! It’s going to be your last day seeing some of these people so you want to be able to show off your personality and be remembered. Here are some options other than the typical white dress that you can wear for your upcoming graduation day.

Rompers

Forever 21, $38

Rompers are a great way to be super comfy, but still, be totally chic. This romper has fun bright colors and patterns, a V-neck, and keyhole back that are just dressy enough to be able to get away with and still turn heads.

Jumpsuits

ASOS, $30

Like the romper idea, but want a little more coverage? We got your back. Jumpsuits are another great option to be super comfy in, but also effortlessly stylish. We love this flutter open back jumpsuit and it’s in the perfect color for spring!

Bright slip dresses

Urban Outfitters, $69

Still on the search for the perfect slip dress?  Look no further. This stunning yellow polka dot slip dress has just enough print and 90s feel to it to stand out.

Powerful pantsuits

Zara, $198

Okay, we’re living for this pantsuit combo if dresses and/or jumpsuits are not for you. Even though this flowy wide leg pant and buttoned linen blazer combo is the classic white color, it’s still giving us MEGA #girlboss vibes.

Statement eco-friendly pieces

H&M, $119
Make a statement not just with what you’re wearing, but also why you’re wearing it. The H&M Conscious line has tons of environmentally friendly pieces that are still perfect for your graduation day, including this Lyocell- blend dress.

Switching up the classic white dress is never a bad idea, especially when you want to stand out while you’re walking to the stage to finally get that diploma. Are you rocking an out of the box piece that isn’t your typical white dress for your graduation? Show off your looks and tag @HerCampusStyle on Instagram for a chance to be featured!
