You’ve got your stunning dress, killer heels and a hot date all ready for the most rockin’ New Year’s Eve party on the block, but your ensemble is missing something. You forgot to plan your nails! Well, collegiettes, never fear! We got your back…errr, your nails. Check out these ideas and feel inspired. Bring on the new year!

1. The Martini Manicure. Start with a good base coat and add some sparkly polish. For the martini glass, use a martini nail stencil and black nail polish. Add a dot of olive green polish inside the martini glass and top with a dry fast top coat. For a more detailed tutorial, visit Swatch and Learn

2. Party Pink Princess. Start with a typical manicure but use pale pink for your nails and a more intense, bubblegum pink for your tips. Silver glitter polish makes this the perfect look for New Year’s Eve. Add nail gems to accent one nail. Your nails will be pretty in pink and glitz!

3. Real Steel. This manicure starts with three coats of Essie Steel-in the Scene polish. Paint the sides of each nail with your favorite black polish. You can use silver glitter nail polish or dab on some actual glitter by using top coat as “glue.” Very carefully add glitter and top coat. You don’t want the glitter to go everywhere. 4. Bow-Tye Nails. If you’re going to a black-tie event, why not dress your nails to match your date? Think clear or clear-pink polish, soft glitzy tips and a fun, little bow-tie to accent one nail on each hand. This manicure is simple, elegant and beyond cute.
