3 Fashion Trends Making Their Debut This Fall

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

Fall has officially arrived, so excuse us while we freak out about getting to finally wear dresses and sweaters ~at the same time~. Aside from the pumpkin spice lattes and generally fab weather, our favorite thing about fall is definitely the fashion. New styles are stepping off the runway throughout the season, and all the back to school shopping gives us an excuse to restock our wardrobe. Obviously, you need to return to college looking totally chic, so we’ve partnered with Primark to alert you of the top three trends making their debut this fall. Get hyped for your new role as campus trendsetter and start shopping ASAP!

Trend One: Artsy Bourgeois

If you consider yourself the artsy and romantic type, this trend is literally made for you. Filled with florals, frilled sleeves, lace, embroidery and lots of knitwear, Artsy Bourgeois is all-around effortlessly chic. To achieve the look, shop for poplin blouses, wrap blouses, culottes, high-necked dresses, denim jeans, velvet bags, chokers and metallic accessories.

We recommend styling a poplin blouse with denim jeans and loafers, then adding a choker and velvet backpack to finish it off. To dress up the look, throw in a corset belt! This is perfect for career girls who need an internship outfit to rock, or just for a casual day of catching up on homework at the library. Totes on-trend AND a seriously chill outfit.

Trend Two: My Generation

This ultra-new fall trend is made for collegiettes who live in the moment, always have a positive outlook and love spontaneous moments. We’re talking floral patterns, check print, distressed knitwear, velvet, pom-pom hats and celestial print. Yep. We need to be wearing this, like, now. Stock your closet up with bodysuits, velvet dresses, denim jackets, blouses, casual trousers, sweats and blazers (especially red ones!) to complete this collection perfect for girls who hang with people of all ages and walks of life.

Whether you’re working sorority recruitment or spending the night out with friends, we recommend pairing a velvet dress with a celestial denim jacket. Add a floral, gum sole boot and you’re ready to go! Honestly, this look is everything.

Trend Three: Athleisure

Athleisure is our fave look because it combines high fashion with coziness––literally nothing is better than that. Throw together your own athleisure collection with signature pieces like sweats, jog legs, casual trousers, performance leggings, sweat dresses, skirts, trainers and backpacks. Then make sure to scout out stylish features like velour, distressed denim, suede, wide sleeves and boyfriend denim to take this trend next level.

An outfit that’s got us feeling some type of way is boyfriend jeans complete with a cropped hoodie and pom-pom beanie, plus high-top trainers and a mini-backpack. Talk about a true athleisure look!

Don’t forget to grab your squad, and head to Primark to shop all these amazing new styles. Since Primark goes straight from the runway to your shopping bag, you can always count on snagging speedy trends at an uber affordable price (which is, like, a basic human right). Have a very fashionable fall, collegiettes! We can’t wait to see all the gorge outfits you come up with!
