10 Puffy Sleeves I Can’t Stop Liking on Instagram

The puffy sleeve trend is back, and I’m totally living for it. This statement detail has become literally everyone’s new favorite silhouette, including some major fashion designers like Marc Jacobs and Saint Laurent. It’s so unique that it can elevate any jumpsuit, blouse or floral dress. As well, it’s the perfect combination of both flattering and playful. Not only does it scream the elegance of the Renaissance, but it also gives us that 80s retro vibe that we’ve been loving in 2019. Oh, did we mention that it looks absolutely perfect with denim? Cause, it’s literally a perfect pair.

I love the puffy sleeves trend so much that I cannot stop hitting the like button on Instagram because I’ve seen so many fierce women rocking the look. Of course, I’ve rounded up some of my current favorites from the ‘gram to share with you that will inspire everyone to try out puffy sleeves this summer.

Puffy, Off The Shoulder Sleeves

The cooler the sleeves the better! I’ve seen this puffy cold shoulder sleeve trend all over Insta for the past couple months, and I definitely plan on tackling this look ASAP. The shirt in the post is also cropped, so it has the right amount of sexy and sophisticated that I love.

Puffy Sleeved Blouse Layered With A Dress

TBH, I would have never thought to pair a stripped, puffed sleeve blouse with a sequin dress. But, @ilawise26 did! It’s not only super chic, but also an everyday look that anyone could pull off.

One-Shoulder Puffed Sleeve

This one-shoulder puffy-sleeved blouse is the perfect way to add some edge to the trend. You can wear it for a nice dinner or for an internship at a fashion magazine. Pair it with a long, flowy skirt for a more dressed up moment, or a pair of jeans for an everyday look.

Square Neckline With A Puffed Sleeve

I feel like puffy sleeves pair perfectly with a square neckline, and @mimmaree totally embodies that combo. It’s also easy to pair with long necklaces and adorable ballet flats.

Long, Puffed Sleeve Dress

If you’re not ready to fully embrace the voluminous puffed sleeve pieces of the world, then try for something more subtle like @ceceolisa did. It’s still super cute, and you can pair it with a bold accessory like a neon bag.

Sheer Puffed Sleeve Top

For a fun night out, wear a lace bralette underneath a sheer a top. All you’d have to do is add some cool earrings or an intricate handbag to spice up the look.

Puffed Sleeved Jumpsuit

Nothing pairs well together like puffy sleeves and denim, and this jumpsuit is the perfect combo of the two. The long puffy sleeves, the two-tone denim, the heart-shaped neckline, and the intricate design of the bodice make @vbiancav’s look so different from anything else I’ve seen.

Puffy Sleeve Floral Dress

A floral dress with puffy sleeves is so elegant, comfortable, and chic. It’s perfect to pair with white sneakers for a more casual look or with a pair of heels for a more formal occasion.

Puffed Short-Sleeves

A puffed, short sleeve top or dress is the perfect casual-cute daytime outfit. A top can pair with mom jeans and a belt, while the dress can look so cute with sneakers.

Polka Dot Puffy Sleeves

Mesh two retro trends together with puffed sleeves and polka dots. You can go for a classic monochromatic, black and white polka dot moment or spice up the look with a splash of color. Either way, you’ll look amazing.

Puffy sleeves are definitely a new way to spice up your everyday wardrobe, and it’s honestly such an Instagram moment. So, go forth and post some of your best puffy sleeves looks!
