Welcome back to another music ranking! This time, I will be ranking some of my favorite Tate McRae songs. If you know me, you know I have been a Tate McRae fan for quite a while. I have been following her music since “One Day” was first released on YouTube, so it has been fun watching her grow as an artist over the years. From her older releases to her newest music, she has put out so many songs that I love listening to. With her newest release, “Housewife,” I thought this would be the perfect time to share my top five favorite songs, along with two honorable mentions. These are some of my personal favorites that I always find myself going back to, and I would definitely recommend adding them to your playlists!
- HousewifeÂ
Starting off with my number one favorite is “Housewife”! Since this is Tate’s newest release, I thought it deserved a spot at the top of my list. I really enjoy the overall sound of this song, and it is definitely one that I have been listening to on repeat. It has a fun and confident vibe that makes it perfect for listening to while getting ready, driving around, or just hanging out. I also really like that Tate continues to experiment with different sounds instead of sticking to the same style. If you have not listened to this one yet, I definitely recommend giving it a try!
- Purple Laced Bra
Coming in at number two is “Purple Laced Bra.” This is one of my favorite Tate songs, and I feel like it deserves so much more attention! I love the overall vibe of this song, and it is definitely one that I find myself going back to. I think this is a great addition to your playlist if you enjoy Tate’s music and want to listen to something a little different. It is also one of those songs that I can listen to multiple times without getting tired of it. Definitely a must-listen for Tate McRae fans!
- Rubberband
“Rubberband” is another one of my favorite songs and has been on my playlist for a while. I really enjoy the sound of this one, especially because it has a more emotional feel compared to some of her newer music. I think Tate does a great job of making songs that are catchy while still having lyrics that people can relate to. This is definitely one I would recommend listening to if you enjoy her older music. It is also a great song for those nights when you just want to listen to music and romanticize your life a little!
- Siren Sounds
At number four, we have “Siren Sounds.” This is another song that I really enjoy and think deserves more recognition. I love the overall sound and feel of this one, and it is definitely worth adding to your Tate McRae playlist. I can’t lie, the first time I listened to this one I wasn’t a big fan. As time went on, and the more my friends played it, it grew on me. I really love this song and it is definitely one of my go to songs of hers!
- One Day
Last but definitely not least is “One Day.” This song actually has a special place on my list because it is the song that introduced me to Tate McRae in the first place! I have been a fan ever since she originally released it on YouTube, so I obviously had to include it. It is so fun to look back at where she started and compare it to the music she is releasing now. If you are newer to Tate’s music, I definitely recommend going back and listening to some of her older releases. You might find a few new favorites!
Of course, I could not narrow my list down to just five songs, so I had to include two honorable mentions! First is “Plastic Palm Trees.” This is another song that I really enjoy and think deserves a spot on your playlist. I love having a mix of older and newer songs when listening to an artist, and this is one that I always like going back to. My second honorable mention is “Run for the Hills.” Honestly, this one could easily switch places with a few songs on my actual list depending on my mood. It is such a good song, and I think it is definitely worth checking out if you have not listened to it yet! I feel as though these two songs are very underrated, so check them out and give them the recognition they deserve!
