Hello, our wonderful readers! This week, I had the privilege to see Maroon 5 in concert for the first time! Since I grew up on this band from a very young age, it felt very personable and close to me. To see how far Adam Levine and his band have come is truly astonishing! It feels like I watched a majority of their career really take off. Although, Maroon 5 isn’t someone I listen to on the daily, they definitely have some of the best songs ever created. This is obviously just my opinion, but I think a majority of the U.S. population knows at least one Maroon 5 song.
Now, for the actual tour review and my overall opinion of the show that was present to the Cleveland area population. I thought he had a outstanding stage presence to where he didn’t need any background dancers or a intense stage layout. The vibe and the presence of everyone in the arena felt truly amazing, and Levine did extremely well in keeping the audience engaged! Levine and his team probably has one of the best stage presences I have ever seen, and I’ve been to a lot of concerts! Now, for some of my favorite songs from their performance last night!
#5) One More Night
This song is one of my favorite songs to jam out to with my friends and to listen to in the car. It was very popular several years ago, but I always am excited to hear this song come on. Levine had very strong vocals with this song and I loved the lighting effects with this song. I am so happy that this song made it to the setlist.
#4) Girls Like You
I loved this song so much more in concert than on the radio. Levine sounded identical to how he performs on the original track of the song, which I absolutely adore. He didn’t move much during this song, which made it easy to keep track of him!
#3) Moves Like Jagger
Do I even need to explain this one? I remember this song came out when I was six years old, and it was so catchy! It is one of Maroon 5’s biggest hits, which explains why it was on the setlist. I loved the energy that Levine portrayed within this song, which enraptured the whole arena!
#2) Payphone
This was one of the band’s encore songs, and the energy was definitely present! This song is so extremely catchy and has always been one of my favorite songs. Levine had a special stage presence during this song, and you could tell that there was an emotional connection for him to this song!
#1) Animals
This was my favorite song of the night, no questions asked! Literally, Levine’s vocals were absolutely amazing and his energy was unmatched! Hearing this song in person and with Levine actually singing it, it made the concert complete.
Maroon 5 absolutely blew my mind last night with their performance, which makes me excited to see what they do in the future. This is solely just my view on the concert that they put forth in Cleveland, but I think they are worth the money to see. Thank you for reading! Stay tuned for more concert review content in the future!
