Is Spring break right around the corner for you? Are the beaches calling your name? I know they are for me, so today I will be giving you a guide on the best spring break destinations! I struggle with finding fun, and sunny, travel spots that won’t break the bank, so I hope this article can help you if you feel the same. So, grab your bathing suits and pack your bags because today we are traveling the country!

  1. Fort Myers, Florida

Fort Myers is a very popular spring break destination, due to its beautiful beaches. On Fort Myers Beach you can go parasailing, jet skiing, and listen to live music. If you’re not a fan of lying out on the sand, you can go on a fun boat ride to see dolphins and manatees. Looking for something to do when the sun is setting? Visit Captiva Beach or Downtown River District. Captiva Beach offers a beautiful view of the sunset as well as clear water. Downtown River District entails lively-paved brick streets, rooftop bars for the adults, and restaurants. This is a very active spot during the nighttimes, so I recommend going there with a group of friends for a good time!

  1. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

I absolutely love Myrtle Beach, especially during the warmer months! I visited last summer and had the best time! Myrtle Beach offers a variety of things to do during the day and evenings. I personally enjoyed Broadway at the Beach. This is a huge entertainment complex that offers shopping, dining, theatres, and rides. This is a great place to visit in the daytime with family and have a good time with friends in the evening! Myrtle Beach also has multiple Ripley’s Attractions like an aquarium, Haunted Adventure, Mirror Maze, Crazy Golf, and Illusion Lab. This is overall one of my favorite break destination spots not only for the attractions but you can also soak up some sun along their beaches and boardwalk.

  1. Gulf Shores, Alabama

Gulf Shores, Alabama is a destination spot not many people talk about. This spot offers a variety of fun things to do during your spring break. They have a beautiful white-sanded beach called Gulf Shores Public Beach. You can also visit a more secluded area in the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. On these beaches you can do various water activities like dolphin cruises, fishing off the pier, and snorkeling. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a great time! Once again if you’re not a beach goer, but want to catch some rays, you can enjoy their 28+ miles of paved trails at Gulf State Park. You are able to enjoy these trails by biking, hiking, walking, or even kayaking along the river. I would definitely check out Gulf Shores, Alabama for your next spring break trip!

That’s all I have for today’s article. I hope you were able to get some ideas on what to do during your spring break. If you check out any of the places mentioned, please let us know what you thought about them! I hope you all have a great, and safe, spring break!
