Fall is the perfect time to expand your love for coffee and try new things. I know we all developed at least slight coffee addictions over quarantine. I always want to stick to the same drink though and never branch out. This is always something I fear though due to the possibility of wasting 5 dollars because the coffee ends up tasting like a candle. There is no worse feeling than going to Starbucks, waiting in the long line, and then taking a sip of your coffee just to hate it. This is why I am going to give hacks on what to and what not to try on your next coffee run. We all love going to Starbucks but after recently trying their new fall flavors I can’t say that I am disappointed. I recently started getting the pumpkin cream cold brew as well as the vanilla sweet cream cold brew with pumpkin added and I can’t get enough. These two are the must-tries of the fall. On the other hand, they have a new drink called the apple crisp macchiato and I personally am not a fan and would stay away. Starbucks is the only coffee shop in our area. I have also gone to local shops such as You Me Oui, Stonefruit, and Pressed and all of their fall flavors are so amazing. Next time you are on campus I encourage you to try Stonefruits’ new flavors as well as their pumpkin cream cheese. They have the best lattes that are extremely worth your money. Pressed didn’t have all their fall flavors out but you can never go wrong there getting a caramel macchiato which I consider to be “fall” enough! This is definitely for all of my sweet lovers because it is one of the sweetest drinks that I have listed so far. You Me Oui has a large variety of what they offer. I recommend branching out and trying something on their menu, you can’t go wrong! If you need to see what they have to offer, Instagram is the best way to find what they have! I know all of my coffee fanatics always appreciate when fall comes because it means pumpkin, the best time! Next time you go to your nearest coffee shop I hope you try something new on the menu!
