As we approach the end of the semester, drowning with finals and assignments, we are bound for too much stress to ponder about the break that follows. The holidays! As a Torontonian, some may not pay attention to the vast events available in the city. Fear not! We have provided a list of the top attractions and events for everyone to enjoy during the holidays so you can focus all your attention on your studies until your celebration begins!

1. Toronto Christmas Market.

Beautiful Christmas lights with festive shops at the distillery district is a must go location during the holidays. The joyful atmosphere and unique shops featuring local crafts from different regions will be a great way to explore with friends and family.

2. Edible Discovery.

Kensington Market is known for its diversity offering cuisines from all around the world. Enjoy a Christmas dinner there by trying out multicultural Christmas dishes to satisfy your holiday food cravings.

3. Time Travel.

Have you ever wondered how people in the past celebrated Christmas? Visit the Black Creek Pioneer Village to experience a Victorian style Christmas with old-fashioned wagon rides and a three-course Christmas dinner.

4. Casa Loma.

The famous castle in Toronto transforms to a giant ginger bread house in December to celebrate the holiday with performances and decorations.

5. Skating Fun.

6. The Nutcracker.

The annual holiday celebration at Nathan Phillips Square with Christmas tree lighting and decorations. It is the perfect way to explore downtown and see the beautiful night-lights after a day of Christmas shopping.
