This weekend, YCP is opening up their Theatre curtains and displaying 20 year long tradition. The Student One Acts.
Since 1996, students at YCP have been submitting their written plays to be performed in our very own Perko Playpen Theatre. There have been shows that have made people laugh, cry and laugh while crying.
This year there were six written plays by our very own Logan Pope, Courtney Nagle, and Meaghn Yorke. All under the direction of Sarah “Panda” Paran and Abby Baker.
I am not trying to spoil anything but there is some great stuff that you are going to want to see. Even you Broadway Buffs! During every intermission, the students take suggestions for one last jaw-dropping performance that they will be writing within the next 24 hours..
So have no fear! The doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30pm. Don’t be late! It’s going to be great!
