It’s the last week of classes and finals either start sometime this week or next week. This is hard to say to anyone, but it is, more than likely, too late for you to bump your grade to that C or B. Not to be the pessimist here, but let’s be honest – you knew that without me having to tell you. This is just something you’ll have to accept. This is a lesson I learned my first semester in college.
Some teachers will come through with that curve, and for a lot of us, we’re doing much better than what we assume. (This often happens to be…but, I’m not too sure about this semester. Pray for me, guys!) In any case, and I say this with a heavy heart: it’s time to accept our fate.
(At this point, not really…but I love this meme!)
Accept that you didn’t try that hard in the beginning, thinking the class was a piece of cake, and now you must suffer the consequences.
Accept that your professor won’t be curving grades (if they do, they are the MVPs and you are #blessed).
Accept that you may not be exempt from exams.
Accept that most nights you may only get 1-2 hours of sleep due to these exams.
Accept that you may not know half of what appears on your exam.
Accept that you’ve done all you could have possibly done and that there isn’t anything you can do at that point.
.
Accept the grades you receive. As long as you passed, you’re good.
Accept that the semester is over and you can finally relax.
So, try your hardest, study as much as you can, and relax. You will do fine during finals week. And remember, next semester is a new semester.
GOOD LUCK ON FINALS!!!!
