The year 2018 has brought its share of news. While plenty of exciting things have happened this year, like the birth of another royal child, there has been a cascade of breakups in Hollywood. Everyone knows that dating in Hollywood is no small feat, especially while being constantly under public surveillance. However, breakups this year have become so commonplace you could even say it is a trend.
Here are some of the most noteworthy breakups you may or may not have heard of:
1. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez
The couple decided to give dating another go in 2017 before calling it quits again early this year. Their relationship has been a rollercoaster of on-again, off-again since first meeting in 2010.
2. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum
Married nine years and share daughter Everly (5). I guess the good news is Channing Tatum is once again single, ladies!
3. John Cena and Nikki Bella
John proposed to Nikki in April 2017, and the two split weeks before their destination wedding on May 5 of this year. It was a devastating blow to the couple, especially Nikki.
4. Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Grace Moretz
The pair first met in 2014 during Paris fashion week and entered officially into the public’s eye in 2016. From there, it is an on-again, off-again saga. Where the couple stands now is a little unclear as Brooklyn had been caught “canoodling” with other women before news of the split officially broke.
5. Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett
The two have been married nearly nine years and share children, Hank (8) and Alijah Mary (3).
6. Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux
Broke up after two and a half years of marriage and seven years as a couple.
Believe it or note these are only a few of the many heartbreaks in Hollywood this year. Hopefully, there won’t be many more big blows by the end of this year…but the year is still young.
