In my opinion, ELF will always be the best Christmas movie. Not only is it perfect for getting in the Christmas spirit but it is literally one of the most quotable movies of all time! Not to mention it has some awesome memes circulating around this time of year. Will Ferrell plays the role of Buddy the ELF as if it was meant specifically for him and he is hilarious! If you haven’t watched it yet… DO IT NOW!!!! I cannot even begin to express how happy you will be after.
Although it has come to the point where I can recite the whole movie when I watch it every year, here are my all time favorite quotes in no particular order:

“I just like to smile, smiling’s my favorite!”
Not to pick favorites but this is my favorite (I have a shirt with this quote on it :)
2. “Buddy the Elf what’s your favorite color”
The best way to answer an office phone of course….*beep beep beep*
3. “You sit on the throne of lies”
Buddy Discovers that there are “imposter” Santas out there and he doesn’t take the news too lightly.
4. “You smell…”
See number 3.
5. “SANTA!!!”
How I feel after Thanksgiving. One line says it all.
6. “Food groups…”
All I have to say is I need to get on an ELF diet ASAP.
7. “It looks like a Christmas Tree”
Who knew right?
8. “Son of a nutcracker”
What else is appropriate when a snowball hits you in the head? Another one of my all times faves (I have a hat that says it :)
9. “He’s an angry Elf”
This part will make a lot more sense if you have seen the movie, but basically Buddy mistakes a “short” author for an Elf….and he doesn’t take it too well.
10. “Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins”
Classic. Even if no one really knows what it means….
11. “mail room”
So Close Buddy…but he still has fun
12. “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear”
One of the most important scenes of the movie.
