Meet Kerri Fleishhacker, HerCampus Celebrity! Kerri, a senior, is a widely successful student, star lacrosse player, and cultured young woman. She took the time out of her extremely busy day to chat with HerCampus about her time at Yale, and she gave us some pretty candid and useful advice.
HC: Why did you choose Yale?
Kerri: I chose Yale because of all the wonderful opportunities that are offered. I wanted to be able to attend a great school and make a difference both academically and athletically.
HC: What are your extracurricular interests?
Kerri: Cooking, traveling, playing competitive sports.
HC: Tell us about being captain of the Yale Women’s Lacrosse Team.
Kerri: Being elected captain has been such an unbelievable honor and rewarding experience. Having the opportunity to develop more personal and mature relationships with my teammates and the coaching staff has helped me become a better individual and teammate.
HC: What are your plans after graduation?
Kerri: I will be living in NYC and working in Sales and Trading at Barclays.
HC: Do you have any advice for those of us younger kids who still have some time left here?
Kerri: Branch out and give yourself the best opportunity to get to know and experience all the different incredible things Yale has to offer.
